Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the operator of Pleasure Heist collects when you use Pleasure Heist, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to meet the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and, for visitors from Europe and the UK, the GDPR.

What we collect

• Account: email address, password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), username, display name, date of birth, and profile photos you upload.
• Creator verification: legal name, date of birth, country, a photo of your ID and a selfie holding it.
• Activity: posts, comments, likes, messages, subscriptions, unlocks, tips and reports.
• Payments: the amount, status and the payment provider's reference. Card and wallet details are handled by the provider (CCBill for cards, NOWPayments for crypto). We never see your full card number.
• Withdrawals: the bank account or wallet address creators give us for payouts.
• Technical: IP address and browser details in short-lived server logs, and the cookies described below.

Why we use it

• To run your account and deliver content you paid for (contract).
• To check that every member is an adult and every creator is who they say they are (legal obligation).
• To process payments, payouts and refunds, and to keep financial records (contract and legal obligation).
• To keep the site safe: we automatically screen messages, comments and captions for attempts to arrange in-person meetings or move payments off the site, and our team reviews reports (legitimate interest and legal obligation).

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

• Supabase (database and authentication) and Cloudflare (hosting and file storage), which process data for us.
• CCBill and NOWPayments, when you make a payment.
• Law enforcement or regulators, when the law requires it or to protect someone from serious harm.

These providers may process data outside Nigeria. We rely on their contractual safeguards for those transfers.

How long we keep it

Account data is deleted when you delete your account. Messages you sent are deleted with your account. Identity verification records and financial records are kept for up to 7 years after the account closes, because the law requires proof of age and identity for published adult content and records of payments.

Cookies

We use only necessary cookies: one to keep you signed in, and one that remembers you confirmed you are 18 or older. There are no analytics or advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to processing, and complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (or your local regulator). Most of this you can do in Settings; for the rest, email us. We answer within 30 days.
